Kendriya Vidyalaya BHEL Haridwar 35th National Youth Parliament Competition 2024 -25
On 27th August 2024, a school level youth parliament was organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya BHEL, after which on 3.9.2024, Kendriya Vidyalaya BHEL Haridwar participated in Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Indian Survey Department Hathi Bardkala Dehradun under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Dehradun Division.
A total of 55 participants participated in the National Youth Parliament. In which students from class 9 to 12 participated. Today, at the beginning of the program, the team of Kendriya Vidyalaya BHEL Haridwar gave its presentation first. In the demonstration process, first of all, oath, tribute, question hour, attention motion etc. were demonstrated in the parliamentary process. In the first demonstration in the National Youth Parliament Competition, pledge was taken by the newly elected MPs in the Lok Sabha and topics like National Education Policy etc. were discussed in great detail. During the entire session of the Parliament proceedings, all the activities taking place in the Indian Parliament were performed by the students with utmost seriousness and enthusiasm.
The entire session was of 55 minutes and all the activities were performed by the students with enthusiasm till the conclusion. The jury, all the teachers and the participants from other schools applauded the school’s performance. After the participation of other participants of the program was completed, the jury announced the decision.
The awards were as follows.
First place was secured by Aarushi Chaubey, second place by Srishti Rawat and third by Kanak Shukla.
Apoorva Tiwari, Yashvi Dhiman and Vineet Shukla, all three received the incentive award.
This competition is organized to make the students aware of the parliamentary tradition and the democratic process of India. In the competition, the students demonstrated the parliamentary processes such as oath, tribute, question hour, attention seeking proposal etc.
